Habib Tabatabai, PhD, PE, SE
Dr. Habib Tabatabai is an Associate Professor of Structural Engineering
at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He has 20 years of experience in design, evaluation, repair and analysis of bridge
structures. He has taught LRFD bridge design courses at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee since 1999. Prior to that, he
was a Principal Structural Engineer at the Construction Technology Laboratories, Inc. (CTL) in Skokie, Illinois, where he
was involved in testing, evaluation and research on bridges and other structures. Prior to that, he was a bridge design engineer
with the Florida Department of Transportation.
Dr. Tabatabai holds a PhD degree in Civil Engineering (Structures)
from the University of Florida. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) and Structural Engineer (SE) in Illinois.
Hani Titi, PhD, PE
Dr. Hani Titi is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at
the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He received his PhD degree from the Louisiana State University in 1996 and is a registered
Professional Engineer in Louisiana. Prior to joining the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, he was involved in testing, research
and evaluation on geotechnical and pavement engineering. He has taught advanced courses on geotechnical engineering, foundation
design and pavement design.
